Incident at Plymouth Place on Friday, July 30

At approximately 6:20 a.m. on Friday, July 30, a US Foods truck parked on Brewster Lane to complete a routine food delivery to Plymouth Place™ caught on fire and a minor explosion ensued in the trailer of the vehicle.  All systems at Plymouth Place worked properly, and we are grateful to our La Grange Park and surrounding fire departments for their swift and expert response.  No residents needed to be evacuated, and there were no injuries.  The exterior of the building sustained minor cosmetic damage.  We appreciate the thoughts and concern of our Plymouth Place and broader communities.
