Plymouth Place Sells Out Arboretum Villas at Record Pace

Innovative Independent Living Project Completed On Budget & Under Deadline

Plymouth Place, a vibrant continuing care retirement community, today announced it has sold out its newly constructed independent living villas on budget and under deadline. The Arboretum Villas are built on an impeccable campus of upscale dining, vibrant shopping and personalized services located in a 17-acre arboretum. The project was completed four months early and all of the units were sold out seven months ahead of schedule.

Officially opened in January of this year, the $99 million project was created to serve a changing demographic of residents who are seeking the comforts of home without the burdens of maintaining a single family residence. The villas include 59 separate units and 80 residents, bringing the total Plymouth Place community to 400 residents.

“The Arboretum Villas at Plymouth Place is an exceptional project that has met every benchmark we set,” Jay Biere, CEO and President of Plymouth Place, said. “We are proud of our vision to serve a new generation of residents and are excited for what the future holds for the villas and our entire community.”

At the average age of 75, villa residents have found the new units to be an exceptional home with premium amenities at their fingertips. Residents can choose from nine different floor plans and enjoy all the benefits of living in Plymouth Place, including upscale dining options and the Center for Healthy Living, which provides tailored fitness and wellness programs.

“I am thrilled with the success of the Arboretum Villas,” said Nitsa Foundos, Senior Director of Sales at Plymouth Place. “We built an extraordinary campaign generating 2,000 leads in just two years. By looking ahead to the future and our changing residents’ needs, we built an exceptional program that will set the tone at Plymouth Place for generations to come.”

“On day one, the staff and residents of Plymouth Place welcomed us into their community, creating an atmosphere of trust and belonging,” Steve Brouwer, Project Executive, Operations for Pepper Construction, which led the villas project. “This supportive environment empowered the team to build this innovative project to the highest quality and well ahead of schedule, ensuring a smooth move-in for everyone.”

In addition to the premier Plymouth Place amenities, villa residents have access to assisted living, memory care, and rehab and wellness programs as they age.

“We like that The Arboretum Villas are detached,” said villas resident Pat Allen. “You don’t go into a large building and go up in an elevator, like in a hotel. We like that it’s walking distance to downtown La Grange, which is a wonderful community. You’re close to the train. You can get on a train and go to downtown Chicago and any events you want. It’s just wonderful.”

“We’re very happy here and this was a great decision,” villas resident Nancy Conforti added.
