Dole Hall Presents

Dole Hall Presents features three different performances each month in the genres of classical music, jazz, and spoken word by highly acclaimed musical artists and sought-after dramatists.

Plymouth Place Singers

Does the music of My Fair Lady, South Pacific, Oklahoma, or Phantom of the Opera appeal to you? The Plymouth Place Singers rehearse weekly and sing a variety of religious and secular music. The ensemble sings at a monthly ecumenical worship service and performs a concert twice a year with The Plymouth Place Handchimers. You can count on each concert to end with a big showstopper! Whether you read music or not, we invite you to be part of a vibrant, fun group of people. Come to a rehearsal or two on a trial basis—no pressure.

Plymouth Place Handchimers

The Plymouth Place Handchimers gather weekly to make music together. The Handchimers present two concerts a year for the Plymouth Place community, and periodically add to worship services. We welcome experienced ringers, novice ringers, and anyone who wants to learn to read music and play chimes. Come join a group that loves to laugh and make music. We have a chime for you!

Drum Circle

The process of drumming engages both the linear, rational left side of the brain and the creative, intuitive right side of the brain. Drumming induces deep relaxation, lowers blood pressure, and reduces stress. Moreover, drumming promotes the production of endorphins, which are hormones that can control pain and help those suffering grief. Drumming, like deep meditation, brings the two brain hemispheres into synchronization, creating feelings of euphoria and flowing creativity. And it’s so much fun!
