Update 4.28.2020

Plymouth Place™ Friends and Family,

It is with profound sadness to share that Plymouth Place has experienced our first loss related to COVID-19. The thoughts and prayers of the entire Plymouth Place community are with the family and friends of our beloved resident, and we wanted to take a moment to honor their memory and join in solidarity after this tremendous loss. The passing of any resident affects our entire community, and we are enduring this heartache together.

I want to reassure you we continue to take every precaution to keep residents and our staff safe during these challenging times. Determining the origin of the virus is an ongoing exercise, but our primary focus is to act in response to the cases with which we are confronted, in order to prevent further transmission. We are confident of our practices and the professionals performing them. We continue to work under the guidance of our Medical Directors –Dr. Rahmawati Sih and Dr. Rajeev Kumar – both of whom are in full support of our clinical and operational management under these conditions.

We will also continue to adhere to and enforce directives from the CDC and IDPH, as we have from the onset, and we will keep you informed of new developments.

With sympathy and sincerity,

Jay Biere
President/CEO
