“As we age, there are so many steps we can take to improve our overall health and independence and add life to our years,” said Christine Irvine, senior director of rehab and wellness at Plymouth Place. “We’re bringing together 33 unique local providers and services to help you achieve these goals.”

At the Health and Wellness Fair, you can learn about our Rock Steady Boxing program — a non-contact, boxing-inspired fitness program created to improve motor function and quality of life for those with Parkinson’s Disease.

You can meet with StepOne Health Services, a comprehensive home care solution tailored to patient’s specific needs. Serving the Chicagoland area, their services include diagnostic EKGs, IV hydration, IV infusions, lab draws, ostomy care, Parkinson’s training and wound care.

“Another unique company that will be at the fair is Gene Matrix,” said Christine. “They help identify the most effective medications based on your own DNA.”

Also on hand will be Spectrios Institute for Low Vision which offers a full spectrum of care, devices and technology to maximize vision. Have a need for physical, occupational or speech therapy? Plymouth Place’s exceptional rehab team can answer your questions and discuss how their services are available to the public.
