People of all ages have talents to contribute. If you’re interested in volunteering, time spent at Plymouth Place™ will be just as rewarding for you as for the older adults you’ll spend time with.
Any gift of your time is appreciated and important: a few hours a month, a weekly commitment or help with a one-time special event – we’re always happy to accommodate your schedule.
An annual recognition event is held each year to thank the volunteers for their services.
Plymouth Place counts on volunteers who can share their talents, can come on a regular basis, can take direction well, are self-starters and are comfortable being around older people.
Yes. We welcome those individuals who need to fulfill service hour requirements for school or confirmation and encourage an ongoing, regular commitment. If you need a lot of hours, please plan ahead and set up a volunteer schedule so you can accumulate service hours over a period of time.
Absolutely!
We are pleased to have service groups, church groups and families volunteer. Groups must not have more than 15 people. Volunteer activities include bingo, games, one-on-one visits, walking with residents and much more. Activities are dependent upon the size of the group, age of its members and time of year. If your group is interested, please have the group leader email volunteer@plymouthplace.org.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept court ordered community service volunteers.
Great! Click here to fill out our volunteer application or call 708-354-0340.
