In 1944, Plymouth Place™ was founded as a nonprofit community, and we have remained true to those philanthropic roots ever since. Every day, we live out our mission of faithfully serving seniors with excellence. It’s reflected in our staff, our building and the way we care for our residents.
Through the generous contributions of donors, we continue to elevate and expand our mission. Partnering with donors and their families is essential to our mission of enhancing the lives of our residents, investing in our employees, and giving back to our local community.
With top-rated healthcare center and recognition as a “Top 500 Nursing Home” by U.S. News & World Report, we offer exceptional clinical care. Our residents enjoy award- winning life-enrichment opportunities cultivated by creative, compassionate professionals. Through generous support, we are able to offer exciting new programs at Plymouth Place and provide new recreational activities and creative dining experiences to our residents.
For the past several years, Plymouth Place has been named a Fortune Magazine Great Place to Work®, a testament to our dedication to enriching the lives of our team members. Generous donations have supported the creation of a scholarship program to allow employees to pursue college degrees or training programs, including on-site continuing education in our John and Barbara Easter Learning Center. Since 2020 alone, over 120 scholarships have been awarded to staff totaling over $350,000.
Plymouth Place partners with local and national nonprofits to support our mission and invest in a variety of community organizations, including Rotary, Interfaith Community Partners, Aging Care Connections, Pillars, and the Council for Health and Human Resources. We are honored to partner with these organizations in giving back to those in need.
